Public Speaking

I am available and love to give workshops, trainings, and lectures to professionals and students.  Topics include rural aging, LGBTQ aging, geriatric education, caregiving, reminiscence therapy and activities for persons with dementia, mediation, and conflict resolution and coaching.  I am happy to discuss other possible topics of interest.  My style has been described as very active and engaging with a wonderful use of humor.  One continuing education program provided this endorsement:

“Kris Hash has a wealth of knowledge to share from her many years as a social work scholar and practitioner. She tailors the delivery of information to each audience, taking care to make sure it is engaging, tangible and often quite humorous. Her passion and genuine regard for her work comes through in her presentations, as does her empathy for both the participants in her audience and the clients they serve. I highly recommend you consider Dr. Kris Hash for your speaking event – you will not be disappointed!”
